Appendix II: Norrsken House’s House Rules
Norrsken House At Norrsken House we believe in creating the most dynamic, efficient and energy sparking work environment. One day is never the same as the other. You might want to sit more relaxed in a comfortable armchair one day, the other day more concentrated in a quiet zone and the third you might spend your whole day in different meeting rooms. Research agree that the most dynamic way to sit is flexible, which means that you don't own your own desk, but you rather select the best seating for you that specific day or hour. At Norrsken you will have a variety of flexible seating options for you and your team to work and be creative in the most efficient way.
If you are away for more than 1 hour, please clear the seat from your belongings and once you’re back you are free to pick any seat that suits you best.
You have access to a lockable private locker per seat where you can store your belongings/laptop etc. Be mindful of your fellow members and the Norrsken House and make sure to not forget a smelly lunchbox or other disturbing or illegal things in your locker. If Norrsken House is suspecting something like that is left in a locker we will try to contact you and then open the locker to solve the situation.
Norrsken House is open to all members 24 hours a day every day. Norrsken House is usually staffed during regular office hours. The access card provided to you to enter the House is for your private use only. For the security of everyone at The House, it will be patrolled by guards during evening and nights and you may be required to present photo id. Do not bring anyone into the office that is not allowed to be there.
Please have your guests register in the reception. When having guests working with you, you should always book a meeting room. Guests are not allowed to sit in the common area. Personal guests (family, friends etc) are welcome to meet you in the café outside the security limits of the coworking space.
There are both bookable and non-bookable meeting rooms. Book rooms using the system provided, book with reason (Thus do not block a room completely for a long period of time). Meeting room coins will be deducted automatically when you book a meeting room.
Tip: If you need to work undisturbed, please enjoy the do-not-disturb area in Library. If you need to work closely to a co-worker, choose a seat next to each other in the co-working space.
Noise level, disturbances etc.
We are all in the same co-working space trying to make the world a better place. Please be respectful of your fellow members and use common sense. If someone is bothering you, please tell that person before it becomes a problem. If someone is bothered by you, please be open to listening to them and make sure you are contributing to the wonderful atmosphere of the Norrsken House.
All companies that apply for a discount are evaluated by the Norrsken team on a set of variables; e.g. the technical solution, the problem they are solving, the potential of doing as much impact as possible, etc. Full price is 6000 SEK and discounted is 4000 SEK. All memberships are personal. If you have a co-worker using the Norrsken House irregularly and not so often we will provide a Lite Membership option.
Kids and dogs
If having your kid in our playroom for the morning or bringing your dog to a meeting in the office helps your day, we welcome that. Like in any other case, show respect to your fellow House members and make sure that for them it’s just another day at the office. Barking dogs or crying babies in the House is not ok.
