First day in Norrsken House

Is it soon the time for your first day in Norrsken House? Great! Here is some info to prepare you.

Before your first day

Onboarding emails

Before you start you will have received onboarding emails. These are critical to go through before your first day in order to have access to all of our systems. The digital onboarding will provide you with:
- access to Member portal

- email invite to our our access system: Kisi

- email invite to our Slack community

- General information about Norrsken Foundation and Norrsken House

Your first day in Norrsken House

1. Main entrance: The main entrance is open from 8:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday. You have access outside of these ours by using our access app Kisi. Simply press the blue button "Main Entrance" in the app to open the door.

2. Reception area: In the reception area anyone can come and sit during the day. The reception is staffed by our fantastic team of Welcomers which can help you if you have any questions. But if the reception is unstaffed don't worry, you still have all the access you need via Kisi.

3. Getting through the speedgates: Next step is to get you through the speedgate 1 to 4 by pressing the corresponding blue button in the Kisi app.

4. Personal storage: You are now in the locker corridor. Feel free to leave your jacket and chose a personal locker. (there are more in the corridor near the Library)

5. Areas to work from: Different memberships has access to different areas of the house. Read more about our house areas here.

6. Wifi: You can find our Wifi password for the Norrsken House Member Network here. 

7. Community and Help:  If you have any questions  you have several resources to reach out to:

1. Search in this wiki. Here you can search for most questions regarding memberships, the house and areas, payments and systems
2. Use the #Help channel in Slack. Here you can ask questions to the whole community!
3. Ask  the Welcomers in the reception. The welcomer team can help out with most thing regarding the house!
4. Send us an email at help@norrskenfoundation.org. We will try to get back to you within 24 business hours!
